1. Secure Your Spot
Once your date is set, I’ll send over a booking email. A 25% retainer secures your spot, with the remaining balance due three days before your session. You’ll also receive a quick questionnaire and session guide with styling tips and prep advice — so you can feel confident and enjoy a stress-free experience.
2. Show Up
No awkward posing or “what do I do with my hands?” moments here. I’ll guide you with natural prompts and gentle direction so you feel comfortable, confident, and fully present. You’ll walk away with a mix of sweet candid moments and beautifully composed traditional shots.
3. Share Your Photos
You can expect a sneak peek of your photos within 48 hours of your session, with your full gallery delivered in 3–4 weeks via a beautiful online gallery.

What she loves most about photography? The people. Whether it’s locals or visitors soaking up the beauty of Dauphin Island, Laigha finds joy in connecting with each person she photographs—and turning those moments into lasting memories.

what people are asking
A. Many photographers have just one or two areas of specialty, but that’s always been so hard for me to narrow down. I’m creative at heart and get bored easily, so I enjoy a wide variety of niches! My specialties include: beach sessions, couples sessions, family portraits, headshots, milestones, mini sessions, senior portraits, and weddings.
A. For regular portrait sessions, I take a retainer of 25% to secure your date and time. The remaining balance isn’t due until three days before your session. For mini sessions, I take a 50% retainer to book with the other half due three days before the session. For weddings, I take a 25% retainer to book with the remaining balance broken into three equal installments: 6 months before wedding, 3 months before wedding, and 1 month before wedding.
*All retainers are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
A. I know you are eager to receive your images, and I am just as excited for you to see them! It takes time to edit each one by hand. A process that I do not like to rush because I want every image in your gallery to look its very best! Because of this, my typical turnaround time for portraits is 3-4 weeks. In busy seasons, it could be on the higher end of 3 weeks, but I try my hardest to get them back in a timely manner. Wedding galleries take the average of 6-8 weeks to complete.
A. You may print your images however you like and as many times as you like, but I highly recommend using the print lab within your gallery. It offers high-quality prints with accurate color representation that will not fade over time for very reasonable prices. Store kiosks such as Walmart and Walgreens may be tempting because of convenience and price, but do not have the capability of printing all the colors in an image. That is why skin tones will sometimes look orange or red. These low-quality prints are also known to fade easily.
A. That is probably the most frequently asked question from my clients! Because of this, I have created a Client Experience Guide where my clients get access to tons of session information and tips on what to wear. I’ll help you pick out the perfect outfits to flatter your body and look good on camera!
