My Story
Five years ago, I attended my very first retreat—completely alone, which was very out of character for me. But God’s whisper was louder than my nerves, and I couldn’t shake the feeling that there was more waiting for me. That retreat awakened something in my heart, and I’ve been saying yes to retreats ever since.
At the next one (yes, still solo), I encountered Jesus in a way I never had before—and that’s when my unraveling really began. I started to see just how powerful it is to step away from the noise, get alone with God, and invest in yourself… because when you do, everyone around you benefits too.
Those quiet moments with the Lord and the friendships formed around kitchen tables and comfy couches became something I deeply longed for.
For two years, I wrestled with God’s nudge to create a retreat of my own. I questioned it, delayed it, and tried to talk myself out of it—but He wasn’t letting this one go.
So here we are. Unraveled was created for women like me… and maybe like you. Women who are tired of holding it all together, craving deeper connection, and ready to meet God in a fresh, meaningful way.

The Unraveled Retreat takes place on Dauphin Island, Alabama—a quaint coastal town known as the Sunset Capital of the South. People come here for it's low-key charm and untouched beaches.

What should I wear? Do I have to dress up?
Comfy clothes are highly encouraged. Think cozy, casual, and relaxed—with maybe one outfit that makes you feel really good.
Do I have to come with a friend or can I come alone?
No friend necessary! Many women come alone! You’ll arrive as strangers and leave feeling deeply connected with a new set of friends.
What if I need to cancel?
Life happens—we get it! While refunds aren’t available, the amount you’ve paid can be applied to a future retreat, or you can transfer your ticket to another attendee.
What should I bring?
Your Bible, a journal or notebook, your favorite pens, maybe a cozy pillow, an open heart, and a spirit ready for new friends and God to move. (And yes—naps are encouraged 😄)
What if I feel awkward or out of place?
You won’t be the only one. Promise! It's normal to feel a little nervous at first, but before long that awkwardness softens into comfort.
Where is the nearest airport?
Mobile Regional Airport (MOB) is the closest option and about 60 minutes away. Pensacola (PNS) is another option if flights work better for you. It's about 90 minutes away.
